As had been the case for more than a few months now, it was just the three of them, reassuring and consoling each other. It wasn't lonely at all, however, as Sokka was good enough with words to help her through whatever she may have been feeling, and Naga provided a great affectionate back-up. The polar bear dog had more than earned her place as Korra's companion and one of her best friends. Happy rumbles thrummed from Naga's chest as both teens found a spot to scratch, the polar bear dog spoiled by them both. With the two of them in agreement, and in better spirits, the smile on Korra's face didn't falter. Though she still greatly missed her parents, and her friends, she felt better now about their absence. She had Sokka, and Naga of course...and things weren't set in stone! Maybe one day, they would pop up in here too! Wouldn't that be interesting, if they arrived at the ages she had last seen them, and she had grown in the meantime...?

Electing not to think too hard about that, she settled back into the couch cushions. "Oh, are you sure?" When she had first suggested it, she had been thinking to go to the kitchen and make it for the two of them, but if he was offering anyway... Korra gave her friend an awkward smile, nodding as he gave her one more squeeze before letting go. "Okay, thanks. That'd be great." She pulled her legs up onto the couch, resting her chin on one knee as she sat there for a moment. The movie continued to play out on the television, though her gaze was set on the kitchen for now. "Hm..." A furry head bumped the side of her cheek and the young woman jolted, startled for a moment. She turned her head and chuckled lowly, reaching her hand back over to give a few, smooth strokes down the length of Naga's snout. "Wish you could have some hot chocolate too, but you'll have to settle for some treats at lunch."

Whilst the two Water Tribe teens had found their own circles of close friends suddenly a lot smaller upon their respective arrivals on the Breach, at the very least, they had found each other and thus made new friends right from the get go. That kept either of them as well as Naga herself from ever being lonely much less alone. They were each always there for one another in their own special ways, and this was just the latest instance of that. It did not matter that this particular need for comfort and reassurance fell on a holiday, adopted or not… Korra, Sokka, and Naga were their own family of sorts. Sure, they had met under strange and unexpected circumstances, but the bonds and meeting across time were no less significant or special.

Sokka was glad to hear Naga’s pleasant rumbles as well as see that Korra’s smile was lingering this time. Sometimes, you just needed a good outlet, and he was glad that he’d been able to help for this one. They still had a full day ahead of them, and if anything, Sokka himself felt galvanized to help make it an even better one all around.

“Of course I’m sure! Even if we were in your room instead of mine, I’d still be sure! I mean… it’s not much, but… hey, it’s the least I can do.” The two of them always had each other’s backs after all, and making hot chocolate was just one of the many, many things they could do for each other. Grinning at Korra’s smile — awkward or not — and returning her nod, Sokka set about whipping up warm, tasty drinks.

Whilst Naga kept Korra some cuddly company, as soon as the water was heated and properly mixed, Sokka had two piping hot mugs set in no time. Complete with some little marshmallows that he had stashed after discovering how nice those were with hot chocolate, he gave his work a nod of approval before he strode back into the den. Retaking his seat as he offered Korra the mug that she often used at his room, he smiled softly, noting “Here you go.”

Right, right... Made sense, this was Sokka's room, Sokka's kitchen. He'd know where everything would be to make the hot chocolate. Sometimes they spent so much time in each other's rooms that the only way she knew for sure whether she was in Sokka's room rather than her own, was by going into the more 'private' rooms, such as the bathroom or bedroom. Just sitting in the living room though, with Naga behind the couch, she could easily mistake it for her own room if she was distracted. "The least you can do is still pretty great, Sokka." Korra insisted with a grin more befitting of her usual mood, a bit playful but also quite sincere. Sometimes all you needed to remember that someone cared and was there for you, was to have a mug of hot chocolate with them.

As she cuddled the polar bear dog, Korra kept an ear on Sokka in the kitchen, just in case he may need any kind of help. If he needed her, Korra would help in an instant whether it was preparing the cups of getting the water. However, Sokka seemed fine to do it on his own and Korra continued to scratch her nails into the soft white fur of Naga, catching an itchy spot behind her ear in particular. A back leg began to twitched, before it finally began to thump on the ground eagerly.

    Thump, thump, skrr, skrr, thump!

The Avatar stifled a laugh and eventually pulled her hand away, so that the neighbors downstairs wouldn't complain about the noise. It was around then that Sokka reappeared with two mugs in hand! She moved slightly, to make room, before hands reaching out for her cup. Her fingers curled around the ceramic mug and she drew it close, lightly smelling the sweet scent of chocolate, and the striking smell of marshmallows! Korra took a quick sip of her hot chocolate, slurping a few of the marshmallows as she did. The liquid was quite warm, but on a day like this the heat was welcome! She gnashed the marshmallows into little pieces, enjoying the taste. Korra let out a satisfied little sigh, grinning at her friend. "Thanks Sokka, it's just what I needed!" Giving it a moment to cool, she dove on in for another sip.

Sokka could not help but brighten his smile a bit at Korra’s kind sentiment, inwardly very glad to know that she felt that way even about the least he could do. It was a simple statement, but still one that made him feel very special and loved. He was always determent to do whatever he could for Korra, and if she thought that the least he could do was pretty great, then that made him feel even better about his other efforts and such.

He was happy to see that Korra had regained a smile that was more trademark her, and that had him smiling through the whole process of making the hot chocolate for both of them. That content expression was only temporarily interrupted when he heard the loud thump, thump, thump courtesy of one very pleased polar bear dog. Chuckling softly to himself, he finished preparing the two mugs of hot chocolate and returned to the den. With hot chocolate in both their hands and the two of them resettled on the couch, Sokka took his own first sip of the warm drink, making sure to blow on it a bit first so as not to burn his tongue. Aaah, now that definitely hit the spot…

Reveling in the way that the warmth spread to his ears, Sokka soon smiled even more at Korra’s exclamation. “Ha-ha, I’m glad! This was a great idea… I didn’t realize how much I needed a mug too until now.” Their day had already been off to a great start, and this definitely added to it.

The thumping of Naga's tail returned, thankfully not as loud, when Sokka returned. As Sokka settled himself back onto the couch, Naga licked the side of Sokka's temple gently, being mindful not to make him spill his drink on himself. Once he'd taken his sip, the tongue moved down to lick at Sokka's cheek, and then Naga turned her head to plant a matching 'kiss' to Korra's. The Avatar laughed, pushing at Naga's muzzle lightly. "Nagaaa, don't lick us when we're drinking!" When Naga's great head moved to lick her again, Korra tapped Naga's black moist nose gently with her fingertips. "No." She spoke firmly, a stern look in her eyes so that Naga knew she wasn't kidding around. As much as they appreciated the affection, licking their heads while they were eating or drinking was something the polar bear dog knew she wasn't supposed to do. It was rude, and potentially gross, if Naga managed to lick them at the wrong time. Giving a whine, Naga lowered her head to rest on the back of the couch, and Korra scratched the back of her ear with her free hand. Just because she fussed at you, didn't mean she hated you! Naga eventually seemed pleased with the attention, watching the teenagers attentively as they spoke.

"Sometimes, you never know until you have it! It's always great during this time of the year..." All hot drinks were, honestly. Hot, fresh tea, hot cocoa...even some of that 'coffee' stuff, though it was way too bitter for her liking. "It'll be good for holding us over til we open our stockings." Korra swallowed another sip from her mug, feeling the warmth of it spread through her chest. Her attention turned back to the television special, which had kept going even through their little moment. The outcast Rudolph had found a friend in another outcast, an elf named Hermey, and after a song about being misfits, the two of them decided to run away from the people who had mistreated them. Along the way, they hoped to find a place where they'd finally belong. Watching the pair of friends, Korra inched closer to Sokka until she was right next to him. Raising an arm, she wrapped it around his shoulders and drew him close, leaning her head onto his shoulder. Her hand patted his other shoulder lightly. "Thank you..." She whispered to him gently, not wanting to interrupt the movie. For being her friend, for making her cocoa, for listening, for all of it, she was grateful.

Sokka grinned at Naga’s happy tail thumping upon his return, just before chuckling softly at her affectionate licking. Thankfully, she aimed her tongue for his temple and was careful to time her lick outside of his initial sip of his hot chocolate. That was lucky coordination, but before he could get her to back off, she planned another lick against his cheek. “Agh! Naga, I love you too, but calm down!” Thankfully, as she turned her attention to Korra, the Avatar was quick to instruct her not to lick them right now. She didn’t hit the mark of scolding, but she did have to take on a serious tone for the moment to ensure that the polar bear dog knew she want business. As the defeated polar bear dog lowered her head and whined, Sokka raised his own free hand to scratch opposite the ear Korra was tending to. That seemed to sate her for now, and with a pleased smile, Sokka soon returned his attention to his hot chocolate.

“Very true, very true… and that it is.” Being a Southern Water Tribe native, Sokka had learned to appreciate the warmth and flavor of many hot drinks. Tea was always great, but hot chocolate really hit the spot whenever he was in the mood for something sweeter. It was relatively hearty as far as a drink went, and Korra was exactly right about how it could help tide the them over until they opened their stockings. It even had the potential to do the same for their presents, but no matter how long it lasted… “I couldn’t agree more. And if we need anymore, I can readily make us some.” Another bonus of the cocoa was that it was easy to prepare and did not take too much time.

With another comfy swig of his own drink, Sokka focused on the television, pleased to see the initial misfit encounter here. As he let himself follow along with the story again, he soon felt that Korra had scooted closer to him until she was right next to and against him. This was nothing unusual for the two friends, but the warrior did still blink as she moved to wrap her arm around him. Raising his eyebrows ever so slightly as she pulled him a bit closer and rested her head against this shoulder, his expression soon shifted into a touched one at her quiet thanks. Smiling a little more himself as he moved to gently rest his own head atop hers, he whispered back, very truthfully, “Hey… anytime.”

Although the fussing had messed with Naga's mood, sensitive to scolding like any animal, the scratches to both ears were enough to make up for it. The polar bear dog seemed cheered up, alternating the tilt of her head between the teenagers' hands. A pleased rumble sounded from a deep spot in her chest, and her tail began to thump steadily again. She even managed to sneak a lick or two of their hands! Korra snorted at the motion, but didn't scold her this time for it. For now, Naga simply bathed in their attention, soaking it up eagerly. This was one of many reasons why the polar bear dog loved these two!

"Yeah." Who knew, maybe there were other flavors of this hot cocoa stuff they could also try out? "Sounds great, Sokka!" As if to top off her agreement that he could make more, she took another hearty sip of her mug. She swished the drink around in her mouth before swallowing, grinning widely before licking any residual cocoa off of her lips. "Mm, that might be sooner rather than later."

As Korra eventually moved closer to her friend, she gave him a sheepish look as his brows raised up slightly. Things weren't awkward for long though, Sokka settling back against her and resting his head right along her's. Long brown hair brushed against Sokka's shaved scalp. After all this time, Korra now saw Sokka as being a member of her family. Naga and Sokka, about the only family she had left...but they were both pretty great. Naga moved to rest her nuzzle against their heads, and Korra set her mug down to free a hand to stroke between Naga's eyes. Smiling at them both, her attention soon shifted back to the television.

Sokka was glad to see that Naga did not remained disheartened from Korra’s sudden but justified scolding for very long. A pleasant rumble and resumed tail-wagging were more than enough of an indication of just that, and he couldn’t help but chuckle softly when she licked both of their hands. Happiness was truly being with a close friend and her polar bear dog… today simply proved it all over again.

Grinning at Korra’s exclamation and agreement with his idea, Sokka soon took another nice gulp of his own drink. With his mug now sitting in his hand a bit more empty than he might have liked, he had a feeling that his best friend’s sentiment went the very same for him. It was great stuff and was certainly meant to be drunk as well as enjoyed, but sometimes, one mug just did not seem to last as long as it should have! “Heh-heh… yeah, you can say that again. I’ll be set to make us the next mugs whenever you like.” Who knew? If they were this up for hot chocolate, maybe he could even try to put on a kettle with a larger portion instead of mixing up individual mugs here.

Sokka met Korra’s sheepish smile with a reassuring one of his own. He had been a bit surprised, but had not felt any awkwardness on his end. As he relaxed once more and the two settled down, the two friends – the small family – were set to enjoy even more coziness around the holiday special.

Content to stay there for a while, Sokka eventually moved to carefully lift his mug back to his lips, taking a smaller sip of hot chocolate, and also thinking that with where they were starting to get with the movie, they might very well be able to tear into their stockings before too long. Korra was comfy though, as was he, and he figured that they would find a perfect spot to do that once they were both set.

Whenever she liked, huh? Korra put a finger to her chin, rubbing lightly as she tilted her head in thought. "Hm...! How about we have some more while we open our gifts? We don't want to have too much all at once." Delicious as it was, this was certainly not the only chance they'd have for getting some chocolate. Several little nuggets of chocolate lay waiting within their stockings. The Avatar swallowed what was left of her cocoa, before setting the mug aside on a table. Sokka's reassuring smile caused her own to turn into a confident one, nodding her head to him. The three of them sat there together, as best as they could considering one of them was a polar bear dog!

Today was a good day for relaxation, and Korra appreciated the time she could spend with Naga and Sokka. They watched as the movie played out, Hermey and Rudolph finding friendship in a man named Yukon Cornelius. With a sled pulled by...several strange looking dogs, he seemed to be a miner of some kind. Soon however, there was a close call with 'The Bumble', who had apparently seen Rudolph's glowing nose! With the help of their new friend, they managed to escape by taking refuge on the edge of ice that had frozen over water. With a pick, Yukon chipped away to separate their section of ice, turning it into a 'do it yourself iceberg'. Floating safely away from the Bumble, their little iceberg eventually found a little island. Toys of all kinds greeted them, singing a song about their little island of misfit toys. Unwanted by any children, the toys had found a new home on the Island. Hoping they had finally found a new home for themselves, the three friends met with the King. Korra expected for the King to be a toy himself, perhaps a giant Nutcracker, but of all things... The King was a lion with wings! Not so odd really, a lion with wings might fit in back in their world, but to have that be a King over the toys...? Unless he was a toy himself... Korra shook her head to shake away the thoughts, paying attention as the King allowed them to stay for one night. Misfits though they were, the island was home to misfit toys. As everyone else slept, the red-nosed reindeer left in the night. Thinking his friends would be safer without him around, he disappeared into the night.

Months went by, and Rudolph's parents began to worry. As the narrator detailed how Rudolph's father ventured into the forest, refusing to let his wife come as this was 'man's work', the Avatar let out a snort. Both amused and irritated at such an idea. Man's work? Really? Pfft... Turning her head towards the stockings, where they hung up with care, Korra could almost feel the candy within calling to her. Breakfast had now settled in her stomach...perhaps now they could indulge in some sweets? Turning to face Sokka, Korra propped herself up on one elbow on the back of the couch. "You ready to dig into those stockings, now?" The movie would soon be done, and they could open their gifts! But perhaps a little 'preview' of the goodies inside of the stockings would make for a nice way to bide their time.

“That sounds fine by me!” Perfect even. This way the two of them could continue to enjoy their hot chocolate without drinking it all at once. They could spread it out, better savor each mug, and even use it to continue to keep warm in the already cozy room. With that set and the great special still running, Korra, Sokka, and Naga continued to relax and enjoy this holiday morning in.

Lazier mornings in were not unusual much less uncommon for the Water Tribe duo, but regardless of any mornings that they got up earlier to set out on adventures, train, or take care of other things to start the day off, they were certainly something that Sokka enjoyed. He had always liked them, but here, he had grown to appreciate them more and more with each passing one. This one was no exception, and in some ways, it was a bit more special since it was a holiday. Even with the bittersweet memories that they had got caught in earlier, the two still enjoyed it, and they were still here together. They always would be, and they could continue to make new memories here. And if Sokka had anything to say about it, he would do his absolute best to make as many of them good as he could.

As the movie continued on, Sokka did find himself taken back to the Water Tribe mentality of some things being man’s work… granted, that was mostly an ideology held by the Northern Water Tribe, but traits of it had still lingered in the Southern Water Tribe. He himself had been guilty of such idea, and he well knew it, but he had also grown and matured from them. Having a powerful bender for a sister, a very skilled warrior for a girlfriend, another very powerful bender for one of his best friends, and a good array of experience with plenty more girls who could more than take care of any ‘man’s work’ had all helped see to that.

Blinking and glancing to Korra as she turned back towards him, Sokka could not help but grin slowly when she suggested they dig into their stockings. “I’m ready if you are. Here, I can go get them!” At that, he knocked back the final swig of his hot chocolate before setting the mug on the table, soon shifting so that he could easily get up. Once he was to his feet, he moved to carefully pick up both of the stockings, the two far fuller and heavier than when they had first been hung. Retuning to the couch with a pleased smile, he offered Korra’s to her, noting, “And here you go! Merry Christmas, Korra.” The presents were set to come before too long, but these would be perfect for right now.

"Great!" It was good that they were in agreement. There was probably enough hot cocoa mix leftover for them both to have several mugs worth. Spreading it all out over the course of the day would be delicious! Though between the cocoa and the goodies, the Water Tribe Warriors would have to do a good brushing before they go to bed. Sweets were delicious, but rather damaging to the teeth, if you weren't careful!

Korra's grin widened in response to Sokka's unable to help a short laugh. Seems that suggesting the pick at their stockings was the magic word! "I am absolutely ready!" She pulled her body up a bit more, hands clapping together. Her palms rubbed in anticipation. The smiling Avatar watched readily as her friend gathered up the plump stockings. As it was offered, she easily accepted the sock, resting the bottom of it on her lap. "Thanks. Merry Christmas, Sokka!" Korra's stocking was made of a light blue, velvety fabric. Brown fingertips smoothed over the side, brushing the velvet down as if she was combing hair. The top of the stocking was made of white fabric that seemed to imitate Naga's own fun. Speaking of the polar bear dog, she leaned her head over to sniff at Korra's stocking, before moving to Sokka's. Her moist black nose wriggled, making soft snuffling noises as she took in the scents. Korra chuckled lightly and stroked her fingers down the center of Naga's muzzle. "Sorry girl, you can't have the chocolate. Maybe I could give you something else, though!"

Opening the top widely, Korra reached her hand in and pulled out a candy cane as her first bit of candy. "Mm!" Popping the end of it into her mouth to hold it, she continued to feel around inside. A few wrapped, some candy bars, aah! There it was! Feeling something wrapped in plastic, with a shape much like a stick, her fingers wrapped around snugly as she removed it from the stocking. In her grasp was beef jerky, all wrapped up in plastic. Removing the candy cane from her mouth, Korra ripped the plastic open and tore off a piece of jerky. Pinching it between her fingertips, she held it before Naga's nose. The thump of Naga's tail smacked the floor as she took in a deep sniff of the offered treat. Tongue licking at her chops, the polar bear dog nevertheless waited for Korra's word.

"Wait for it...wait for it... And go!" The meat was tossed in the air, and Naga's muzzle closed around it as she snapped the treat out of the air! The Avatar laughed lightly, breaking off another piece of jerky and chucking it into her own open mouth. "I think she likes it, Sokka!"

Agreement was usually the way with the two best friends, but even though they were both as amiable as they were flexible, Sokka was always grateful for it. With a full stock of hot chocolate mix to last them the day, along with plenty of other awesome food – of both the savory and sweet varieties – they were set. It was their holiday, and they were making it more their own than ever.

Grinning even more at catching Korra’s grin, her exclamation seemed to speed him along as he moved from the couch to the mantle. Returning with stockings in tow and handing her hers, Sokka grinned at Korra’s return of his own holiday wish. It might have been a new expression for the two of them, fitting of the new holiday, but there was just something cheery about it. Maybe it was just the mention of the word “merry,” but whether that was it or not, it was something that the warrior appreciated the simple joy in the words. Whilst Korra’s stocking was light blue, Sokka’s was darker, albeit made of the same material, topped with a similar artificial white fur. The two stockings looked distinctly Water Tribe, and to Sokka, that was just another of the many ways that they had started to make their own stake in this holiday of togetherness and hope.

“Heh-heh, maybe… I’m sure that you and I have plenty of polar bear dog safe goodies that she can share, both in these stockings as well as in our cupboards,” mused Sokka. As Korra began to dig into her own stocking, so too did Sokka, also pulling out candy canes, candy bars, and just like his friend’s own find, delicious beef jerky. That elicited a grin from Sokka, and he could not help but lick his lips as he saw just the flavor of this particular pack. Sokka decided to tear into his own strip of beef jerky, tearing it open and chomping down on it right as he noticed the Korra had torn off a bit and held it up for Naga. Now this made Sokka grin further before he stated, “Now that’s an even better treat for our favorite polar bear dog!”

As Korra made sure that Naga waited for her to give her the treat, Sokka soon grinned further, chewing even more of his own jerky as the polar bear dog devoured her treat. “I think so! Jerky is always awesome. Actually, we might have to swing by that specialty jerky store soon to see if they have any holiday specials!” After all, now that it was Christmas, Christmas merchandise and bundles would likely have a generous discount applied to them!

A merry time for food, friends, and time together. Who could ever ask for more? Certainly not these two! Briefly overlooking their stockings, it made the Avatar wonder how such a tradition got started. Putting giant socks up and stuffing them with goodies...yeah, it was a weird one. Neither of them could comfortably wear these stockings! Just another one of those strangely interesting things about this holiday! Korra nodded in agreement with Sokka, giving her furry companion a sly grin. "Sokka's absolutely right, Naga! If you're a good girl, we'll have you nice and fattened up by the Spring!" While Sokka gnawed on his own bit of jerky, Naga munched on the bit that Korra had shared with her. The young woman took this time to get to work on her own bit of jerky, laughing lightly as she paused to swallow. "Nothing but the best for my best friends! Though at this rate, we'll end up just as plump as Naga!" With goodies and feasts to be eaten, all three Water Tribe natives would surely be round enough to roll by the time the snow melted! Winking to her warrior friend, she gave a good-natured chuckle as she chomped down on her treat again. "'Course, knowing us, I'm sure we'll work off the fat by sparring and training!" Not that the Avatar had any complaints. Without any formal masters to train with, or chi-blockers to grapple with, Korra was actually relieved to have a partner in Sokka. At least by training with him, they could both make sure their muscles wouldn't atrophy, nor their skills get rusty.

Oooh, holiday specials! Now there was a thought! Pulling the bit of meat away from her mouth, and angling it away from Naga's waiting jaws, Korra considered the possibilities. "What kind of specials would they have, do you think? Maybe some mint...or chocolate? Either of those sounds kinda promising for combining into a piece of jerky!" Festive and potentially delicious!

Sokka could not help but laugh at Korra’s quip about Naga getting fattened up by spring, and he nearly choked on his own jerky as she added the bit about the two of them ending up plump! Coughing to clear his through and still laughing around it, he balled up a fish and gently beat his sternum a little bit to help clear his airway. He did manage to return her wink at least, just in time to nod in full agreement about their method of keeping themselves from getting too rotund. “H-ha! Maybe! We might get to Naga level, but so long as it’s not anything like an arctic hippo or even just a tiger seal, we’ll be just fine! That said… I’d say you’re exactly right about how we’ll work it off and stay fit!”

The two friends were frequent training partners already, and the winter to spring span was one of the best for them. Just as Korra was glad to have a partner in Sokka, so too was the warrior happy to have the Avatar as his own sparring partner. He might have already been long-used to training with both his sister as well as the previous Avatar in Aang, but being able to train with a bender, he was able to keep his own skills as sharp as his space sword whilst helping her in general, be it combat, general bending, or anything else. He was always grateful for it, and he always made sure that his best friend knew that. Just because it was an unspoken obvious didn’t mean that he never wanted to verbalize that.

As for the topic of specials, now that got both Sokka’s mental gears going and his mouth watering a bit more. “Ooh, now both of those are good ideas… I bet they have some chocolate covered jerky at the very least! It’s surprisingly tasty! Mint would be good, too! It adds a nice kick to the meat and freshens your breath while you eat it! Maybe they even have some other types of meat to try! Or some other spiced ones!”

For her part, Naga definitely didn't seem upset by the prospect of becoming fattened as her tail thumped against the floor eagerly. Korra seemed worried for a moment when Sokka began to cough. Lifting herself up off the couch a bit, it dawned on her what must have happened as he pounded on his chest. "Wrong pipe? Hehe, sorry..." Her smile quirked apologetically. Always hated when that happened! "You okay? And yeah, we don't need that much blubber on us! Naga's blubber is the perfect amount!" The Avatar beamed at her friend's agreement. Now that their lives had become more relaxed, they had to rely on each other to hone their skills and fighting prowess. She quite liked getting to spar with her friend, it reminded her of when she'd practice with Bolin and Mako.

"Chocolate and meat is a great match." Kinda weird, but surprisingly great together! As they talked, Naga's head lingered over the edge of the couch. Her black eyes were trained on the jerky in Korra's hand. The bear dog's stare was intent and laser focused. Must have more jerky...! "Mmm, mint...that's something I could go for. Mint jerky. Maybe they'd have jerky made out of animals we've never tried!" Now wasn't that an adventure for the two Water Tribe warriors?

Naga's persistent watch was noticed, earning an amused chuckle from the young woman. "Okay, okay...you greedy goof!" Using her teeth to tear the jerky in half, Korra threw the half still in her hand up in the air. Tail wagging eagerly, the polar bear dog snatched it out of the air with a soft CLICK! of the jaw! She chuckled stiffly at her friend, mouth still full as she focused on nomming her jerky.
