Goodness! Look at the status of these wires. Acidic water was a horrible combination, causing both corrosion and electrical shorts. The wiring had also split in a couple of areas. However, Dr. SALLI wouldn't help but to notice evidence of corrosion that had obviously been around for longer than a day or two. She bit her metaphorical tongue to avoid launching into a lecture about wiring upkeep. That was best saved for later, seeing how Kaon's health habits were a little...unimportant, in his current state.

"You should be fine to close up your plating now, then." Easy does it indeed, for all three of them! Grabbing hold of Kaon's removed wires, she carried them over to a secure waste bin that was marked 'hazardous materials'. The electric shorting already made them dangerous, but the lingering acid was also a concern! Tugging on the middle finger of her right hand, the robot deftly removed her glove and tossed it into the bin along with the wires. In her processor, SALLI was going down a mental list of everything she needed to do. Lines had been patched, Energon served to the both of them, she'd just finished the majority of his wires.

Everything left would need the mechanic. ...Except for Vos' little procedure. Her cyan optics glanced over to the quiet mech, eyeing his gun barrel. It wasn't common for Dr. SALLI to handle weaponry. Would fixing that be like fixing a bent antennae? ...Suppose there'd be no harm in asking. "Vos? What exactly will I need to do to straighten your gun barrel?" He did say it was a minor procedure, so it couldn't be too difficult. Would it be worth it to fix him up now?

Kaon was aware of how shoddy his wiring upkeep was at this point. They had been without a medic for centuries and he'd only known Nickel for a few scant months. Vos, only slightly longer, but a fire-forged amicahood had come between them. And Vos was no wiring expert, though his were more immaculately maintained. He gave an optical grimace at the state of Kaon's wiring; no wonder the cold-construct seemed to be in less-than-stellar health most of the time!

He would carefully close his plating, his leg treads instinctively rumbling a slight bit. One tread was a bit slower to move, perhaps due to the damages from the ice and the dragon. However, he seemed relatively fine for the moment otherwise. The tread would self-repair now that he was getting more energon into his system.

"Will needing heat to make pliable and pull it upright." He knitted his digits. "Is how Nickel do."

Replacing Kaon's wires had been rather intricate work, but it was worth it for this. The mech was in a far better place, health wise! With rest and Energon, the two were on the road to recovery! The peace found in the hospital would likely be a boon to the two after their harrowing battle with a dragon. Standing off to the side to give them their space, Dr. SALLI stood with her back as still as a rod and her arms by her sides. Heat to make it pliable, that actually sounded pretty basic! A simple procedure, just as Vos had promised. And one she had done time and time before, even if it wasn't exactly for a gun barrel.

"I can definitely do that." Though the question now, was when. Should she give them a break to recover and rest, or get such a routine procedure out of the way now? Glowing optics centered on the mech, processor percolating with thoughts. Eventually, SALLI spoke up again. "I can do that now, if you'd like. And then I can leave you two to rest while I do my rounds." It was truly up to Vos. She wouldn't be surprised if the Cybertronian might want such a thing done as soon as possible, but it was just as likely that he may wish for a bit of alone time with his friend. Without a visible mouth, it was a bit hard to get a read on the quieter mech.

Kaon seemed to be quite a bit more relaxed and calm. His servo latched to Vos' quietly in the moment. Vos was going to need all the support the little guy could get. He was a nervous rookie, after all, and had gone through hell and came out singing the Primal prayers on the other side. Hell, he'd sang a few of them during their journey, and though Kaon didn't exactly place a divine faith in Primus, it was nice to hear even a familiar, if religious tune fill his audials. It had kept him awake, aware, calm.

Vos nodded, clutching to Kaon's servo. "Please doing." He had a quiet look, keeping his barrel level for her so she would be able to work quickly. Kaon instinctively knew that he should let Vos squeeze. Though there weren't many nociceptors in in his gunbarrel, pressure sensors were and at the Life Cord, pressure could be registered as pain since those pressure sensors led to his life cord.

    "Am ready."

"And I'm here for you, Vos." Kaon rasped softly.

Kaon joined hands with his friend, seeming now a lot more relaxed. He was taking charge of the situation again, metaphorically stepping in to support Vos. In broken basic, he asked for her to do the procedure. Dr. SALLI nodded in response and approached. Now that the first response to their injuries had come and gone, the robot could tell just how rattled the two of them were. Those who went through these type of conflicts always came out the other side changed by their experiences. Would they need counseling? A thought to bring up later perhaps.

Just as it had for Kaon's procedure, her left had shifted and transformed. Gone were the digits and shape of a hand, replaced instead by a red-hot welding tool. Careful as can be, SALLI offered the mechs a soft smile. "This shouldn't take too long at all, Vos." She reassured, giving him a moment to steel himself before she brought her arm close to the gun barrel. Not directly on it, as they didn't want the metal to be too liquified! Dr. SALLI shifted, turning her arm around the barrel so that heat could be evenly distributed around the point where it bent to the side. Once satisfied, the tool disappeared back inside of her forearm. With both hands, she gripped the barrel and ran her fingers down the length of it with a sturdy grip. Just as she had suspected, it was an easy enough fix! SALLI continued to hold it for a few more moments before she eventually let Vos go.

"There. So long as you don't nick yourself on a corner or catch it on anything, it should be straight!" Stepping back to give the two their space, the doctor joined her hands together with her arms over her chest. "How are you both feeling? Is there anything else I can do, or get, for either of you?" There was no rest for the good doctor and so she would have to move along to check on more patients. But she would not leave without making sure the both of them were in stable condition!

Vos gave a relieved noise as it was straightened. He vented softly at the heat--it didn't really sting, as, again, gunbarrels didn't have pain receptors, thankfully. It just felt like charging up a huge shot like that one time Helex had charged into battle weilding him. Wasn't that against Heretech? Oh yeah! That was definitely Heretech. The same Heretech who had proven too much for Kaon to handle on his own, had to be distracted by Vos and Helex, and then taken down by Tesarus. A team effort, really.

"Will be fine. Much better. Gratitudes." Had he a mouth at the moment, there would have been a facial smile, but a brightened look in the optics would have to do.

Kaon rumbled. "Should be fine for now. I should probably get some recharge." The last few words were murmured, almost as though demonstrating how true the statement were. After all, he hadn't recharged in almost two days! Maybe even three. Actually, being blind made it hard to know when you last recharged.

There! Just like any other routine procedure, it was cut and dry. Simple and painless! A job well done had a satisfaction to it that couldn't be compared. Dr. SALLI gave the mechs a bright smile, pleased by the twinkle in Vos' optics. He had no mouth, but she could perceive how relieved he must have been. What must a bent gun barrel feel like for a transforming robot? Not to mention how he likely felt relieved to use it if needed. "You're very welcome, Vos. I'm just happy to help." Kaon spoke up next, and the doctor nodded along with his murmured statement.

"Yes, it'd be good for you both to get some rest." Their battle had been long and hard. The journey to get help left them obviously drained. Here, they could recharge in a stable place that was protected. They were on the road to recovery. Heels clacked against the smooth floor as SALLI approached the door. She stepped partially out into the hallway, pausing only to glance back at the mechs. "I'll be back to check up on you periodically. If for some reason you need my help before we see each other again, don't hesitate to hit the call button." One last wave and the robot left them alone to rest. Her heels signaled her departure, as Dr. SALLI left the robot wing behind and made her way back downstairs to make her rounds.

Vos seemed a lot more relaxed. His gun mode was finally safe to use and wouldn't end up accidentally shooting Kaon's face. Not to mention that was a load of pressure off his pressure receptors and therefore pain off the back. His gaze darted to poor Kaon.

Kaon himself gave a tired smile. "Mmm, thank you. Hope I wasn't too bad a patient..." He really hadn't encountered too many medics. Just Nickel, to be honest, and she wasn't always the most patient of medics. Mind you he was a good patient for her. He rarely complained and he tried to at least take care of himself even if he wasn't all that good at it without sight. No one could blame him there.

He crossed an arm across his abdominal plating while resting, drifting into quiet recharge. All that would be left of noise in the room was Vos, and his occasional claw clicks on the chair.
