Boy, his ears really were flexible, huh? Kinda reminded her of a rabbit or a cat. Kyoko cocked her head at him curiously. So he considered lying, huh? Pretty smart, since it's a pretty weird thing to ask. If she were a bad person, she could exploit this knowledge. Lucky for Metal, she was...morally gray! "Probably basic stuff like the face and stuff, huh?" The majority of him seemed to be all metal and armored! Obviously, the cloak made it hard for her to know for sure. His face sure did seem oddly human-y around the 'eyes' though. And hey, it wasn't like the teen herself was somehow exempt from injuries! She could just use magical powers to heal up.

"Eh, I figured." The teenager shrugged lightly. "People get weird about that stuff. I don't care as long as people aren't like...being smacked around!" If there was no abuse like that, what business was it of Kyoko's who was and wasn't in a relationship? Nor what the people in the relationship were? Who cared if one was a robot, who cared of both were the same gender or something? Not her! "So yeah, you won't be stopped from doing stuff just because you're a robot!" A nice thought! "Heh! Prepare yourself for a damn good DDR battle! You name the time, we'll do it!" Mano y mano! Who had the fastest feet? Would her magic win over machinery? Find out on the next episode of Dance Dance Fight!

"Hm." Her brows furrowed, confused by this concept. Metal already had weaponry. These 'W-tank's restore power for weapon use? Why not make him able to use it without using energy? Eh...but it wasn't like Kyoko was a roboticist. Was that a word? Whatever that was. She wasn't 'it'. "I guess that makes sense." Maybe it was kinda like how she needed Grief Seeds and all. Better than nothing indeed! She seemed to smile a bit more at the robot's optimism. And then snorted at his sibling issues. "You make me glad I only had one sister!" She flashed him a grin before she suddenly ducked into a nearby alley.

"Shortcut!" It was quite filthy, with a smelly dumpster pressed against a wall. Stains dotted the concrete as Kyoko stepped around them like an expert. A couple of cockroaches skittered into the dark crevices of the wall as she led the way through the alley's path. The view on the other side of the alley would be a welcome sight. Sleek metal and tall skyscrapers, bright lights and cars of many builds that zoomed by on the road! The sidewalks were a lot cleaner than the seedy outer district paths. The teen pressed up on her tiptoes to find landmarks. Eventually, she picked a direction. "This way to the Sanctuary!"

He gave a small smile under the mask. "Well yeah, basic stuff like that." His right ear seemed to give the faintest of twitches. His upper arms between the gauntlets and the pauldrons were also quite prone to being sliced and diced, as were his thighs, lower back, sides, and hell, even the torso chassis was a veritable weak point that a well-placed Metal Blade--like that time Bass busted one in his back--could skewer. Surely swords, spears, and the like would penetrate too. Thank goodness for that brown ceramic titanium mesh cloak he was wearing to cover up just how scrawny he really was.

He rubbed his head slightly, thoughtful. "I mean, not that I'm a dating type. Too fickle for that." He chuckled. "But it's nice to see that robots can feel how they really feel and not have to be afraid that they can't feel those things." A younger, more arrogant Metal might have even been so bold as to ask for a kiss, but he wasn't really all that arrogant. All he'd want is a fistbump from a friend--if he had one. Maybe one day he and Kyoko would be friends? That itself made him give the faintest of smiles once more under his mask. "Any time you're free and I'm free, I'll totally name it and we are going to cut a rug and make it bleed!" HAH, take that, Top Man, he even stole your catchphrase, you bloody spinning copycat wannabe dancer who had to trip Metal at DDR quite literally. That was really the only reason Top Man had been on top.

"It's a confusing concept but...um...uh...I guess it's sort of like if you have a limited amount of energy to do something." Now, he could have used spoon theory or 'battery theory' here, but he didn't feel it was right to co-opt from bots like the presumed late Proto Man who had legit power core issues. Yes, even robots could be chronically ill. But it wasn't his place to tell Proto Man's sad tale; that was for the Light Number prototype to tell, not the Wily Number prototype.

With deft movements, he would start darting closer. "Sweet! It'll be nice to get out of this alley." He prepared his leg pistons with quick toe-flexor flexes to engage the leg pistons in case he needed to take one of his infamously high leaps. He was, after all, a prodigiously-skilled jumper.

Maybe she'd remember that in case they ever had a spar. Though Kyoko would have to remind herself that gravel was a hard 'no' on any future spars. It was just kinda...you know. Cheatsy. And rude! Metal admitted that he wasn't 'the dating type' and the young girl let out a little chuff of agreement. "I'm not the dating type either. Romance is weird, and it makes people act dumb anyway! Who wants to run around acting crazy over some stupid boy? Or...girl? Or whatever?" Love just wasn't in the cards for these two, and that was just fine by them! "Kinda makes sense too cause there's a whole bunch of weird junk here. Aliens, walking corpse people, big ole robots, talking animal people... If everyone got hung up over who was dating who, they'd just get a headache." Not to mention that it was a terrible use of one's time.

"Hm..." The teen hummed in thought, the tip of her boot kicking a bit of garbage off of the sidewalk. "My schedule's kinda crazy. Let's just say I was in the Outer District for a reason, if you're picking up what I'm throwin' down. And it's a reason that usually takes up a good chunk of my time. But when I'm not dealing with that stuff, I've got free time for video games, and food, and having fun! So whenever's a good time for you, I can work around it." No doubt, the robot would need a bit of time to adjust to this place. Get himself a stable place to live, deal with the fact that his brothers were gone. All that fun stuff! "You name it, and we can paint the arcade red!"

"Okay, that actually helps." Yep. Definitely a situation like the Grief Seeds, not that Metal really needed a lesson on magical girl magic mojo right now. Just as he needed 'W-tanks' to fuel his weaponry, she needed Grief Seeds to help her magic powers! Together, the two darted down the alley like a couple of rapscallions. Kyoko had no pistons to engage, but she bounced on her boots all the same! The two found a ratty chainlink fence that stretched from wall to wall blocking their final path. "You snooze, you lose!" She teased with an eager chuckle. The magical girl charged at the fence, and the toes of her shoes using the chain links as if they were steps on the stairs!

    CHNG CHNG CHNG!

The metal rattled loudly with every move she made. As soon as Kyoko reached the top, she kicked off and landed with a kneel on the other side of the fence. "Whoo!" She turned back to see how Metal would clear the fence, hair flowing over her shoulder as the teen grinned widely. Before them lay the city proper, and a sign nearby would identify the street they were staring at as being 'Main Street'.

The truth was that he didn't even know the first thing about the social obligations of dating anyway. Mind you, he did have feelings for a dead robot anyway and he wasn't sure if that was romantic or idolization as his fellow prototype, or maybe even admiration for someone who had musical talents. Or maybe he just wished that in another life, those two could have been best friends, but no use crying over spilled chocolate, so to speak. "I know right? Besides, it's too many rules and obligations and...who the hell can figure out what dating is anyway?" Again, not Metal, really. Even with some serious help for the poor boy's social skills, dating was forever a mystery. "I know right? I mean...wow, it's cool that there's so much diversity though!" After all, giant robots?! Could it get more Japanese than that? Considering some of his favorite shonen anime had been the giant robot ones...

He mused. "Gotcha. Work before pleasure." Boy howdy did he ever know that one. It was why he'd become so talented among the Doctor Wily Numbers as the one who was efficient at his work and had learned to find the little shortcuts that didn't impact the quality of his work. Not that he'd had much free time when Dr. Wily was always barking orders and demanding this or that. And ugh, he was always the one having to cut metal in the lab for the old man to build replacement upon replacement--er, brother after brother. "I'll figure out a schedule and work from there, really." He winked.

He smirked, watching her climb the fence. Well, she didn't have strong leg pistons or boosters in her feet, so this was going to be fun. He took a few steps back, calculating the momentum he would need. Then, quick as a flash with his prodigous pistons, he made an intense vertical leap, landing with one toe atop the fence before he leaped down with a light motion.

"Alright! I still got it!" Did he ever even lose it though? He was, after all, the best Robot Master when it came to jumps. Except maybe Shadow Man, but that was because the other was a ninja.

Oh, the rules and obligations! Kyoko found herself nodding in eager agreement. "Yeah, yeah! Like, who needs to mess with all of that? Not me!" With a cocky smirk, she brushed off her own shoulders as if clearing off debris. The teenager was very proud that she didn't need to worry about such things. She'd be more than happy for others, but hey. She was just happy to know she wasn't gonna make herself do something stupid just because of feelings over someone. Something Sayaka should have learned. "I like it too! It's nice not to be the freakiest thing in the room even though I can kick tons of ass." It was left unspoken, but she was also happy to not have to worry about the secret identity thing. Sure, the majority of PB didn't get involved with the Witches, but there was also no need to keep anything magical girl related a secret. Magic was much easier for the people here to understand! Especially compared to Japan.

The best kind of job was one that had bits of pleasure in it. And kicking Witch ass brought her loads of pleasure! But it was totally different compared to playing video games or enjoying some tasty food. "Exactly!" This Metal robot was still kinda new, but it might be nice to have more friends. "Alright! Sounds good to me!" Kyoko offered the young robot two thumbs up at the wink. Whenever he was ready, she was too. If he was lucky, she'd probably be at the arcade anyway!

Watching Metal's leap, Kyoko let out a low whistle. He jumped upwards, very very high, and landed on the fence on just a toe! Without slipping once, he merely slid down from the fence like some sort of robotic feline. "Not bad! Not bad at all!" The teen rose up from her kneeling position with a grin that exposed her canines. "You've got some moves." Her attention turned towards the busy street. Automobiles drove past them, and artificial lighting bore down on the two. The skyscrapers in the distance were impressively tall. Kyoko waved a hand as she picked a sidewalk. "The Sanctuary's this way." Her sneakers plodded against the concrete, leading Metal past a looming hospital. She jerked a thumb towards it. "That's the hospital! I've never really been there, but I guess it does its job."

"Me either!" He seemed to have an almost prideful look in his eyes, but for a moment there would almost be a flicker of sadness. Maybe deep down he wanted to love or be loved; perhaps back home hadn't been so great? And maybe he didn't even really love himself right now? Who knew. "Which means I'd probably not stick out either. I mean, I'm just an everyday combat robot, right?" He had a chipper look in his eyes, but again, a faint sadness. Maybe he didn't want to be a combat robot? Who knew with the Wily models, huh?

He seemed to wiggle both ears in an almost excited gesture. Sometimes he didn't have the words, but his body did. Two thumbs also popped up, his ears wiggling with glee. Yes, those were definitely emotive and not just decorative to make him look taller and threatening. In fact, they were probably the downright cutest thing visible on him right now.

He winked his right optic, tilting his face slightly as though he were a certain ninja brother of his. "I've had fifteen years to perfect moves like that one, so naturally, of course I have moves~!" Yeah, his circuits may have said "you're seventeen in the head" but he knew his body was only fifteen years old. They were finally on the path to the Sanctuary though and he gazed to the looming hospital, as though memorizing it in case he needed to go there for anything. After all, he didn't have Dr. Wily around to fix him anymore, and some repairs weren't so easy, like replacing one of his ears--or replacing both arms should the need arise. Sure, he'd struggle to replace the left arm with the right but he'd make do as far as self-repair. "I bet they see all sorts of folks. I wonder what the Sanc is like if the hospital looks that awesome."

Despite Metal's agreement, he seemed to have a weird melancholy vibe for a moment. Kyoko raised an eyebrow but otherwise kept her mouth shut. If there was anything the teenager had learned, it was that this 'love' stuff was complicated. Driving people crazy, trapping people in abusive relationships. Romance was a lot more complicated than the movies and the mangas made it seem! Whatever his baggage, Kyoko wasn't ready to broach it. "Yeah, like. I think if you stick out for any reason, it'd just be for not being a transforming robot!" She latched onto the subject change, speaking with a casual air. The majority of robots the magical girl knew of were all the big giant robots! There was Lirewire of course, who she had fun sleepovers with, and then Kyoko had gone on a hunt with three big ole robots! Metal would be small next to them! "Otherwise, I think you'll fit in!"

Watching the robot's ears wiggle made the teenager laugh lightly. Not in a mocking way, she just found the gesture to be amusing. No robot she'd met up to this point had little...wiggly ears like that! Scaramouche had a neat display screen, lots of teeth, and a big ole nose, but no ears! Kyoko was still reminded of a dog, or maybe even a rabbit. If his ears were wriggling, he was probably in a good mood!

"Fifteen? Ugh, lucky!" Kyoko grumbled to herself. Badass as she was, the redhead had been a normal human up until she was about thirteen! And babies couldn't do epic backflips or anything neat like that! Robots obviously got to avoid that stage of life. Candy apple eyes shifted to regard the looming hospital, with bright lights and an overall...busy yet clean feeling emanating from it. "The sanctuary's a lot more casual. It's supposed to be a place for like...all sorts of people to sit, hang out, and socialize. There's a kitchen, a bathroom, even some beds if people wind up spending the night! Hospitals are never that comfy, and the only good thing about them is getting a lollipop after they're done with you!"

Ah yes, the melancholy of a war-weary combat robot, settling in his chest. The Stardroids had managed to make even some of the most bloodthirsty Robot Masters re-evaluate their priorities; that was to say, those who hadn't already found some sort of alternate dream or goal in some way. Metal Man had been one of those Robot Masters without a new calling at the time being, which frustrated him. How had Quick Man found his passion in racing, for one?! "Dear forefathers of robotics, seems like I would be the oddity, huh?" There wasn't a hint of melancholy behind that statement, but a sudden cheerfulness. Jarringly sudden, as though he were trying to push it down.

He couldn't help but burst into his own chuckle at her laugh. Laughter was quite infectious, and his own laughter, while tinny, sounded quite bright. In fact, it almost sounded younger than his construct OR artificial intelligence.

"Well how long have you had?" He winked his right optic playfully. For a moment, it was like he was thinking of someone else and winking like them. Mind you, with a much more cheerful expression than the brother in question often did. He seemed to relax hearing more about the sanctuary. "Oooh, I wouldn't mind a lollipop one day. Think maybe they have 'em in chocolate?" Ah, his one true love, he had mentioned it. Who needed romance when you had CHOCOLATE? "The Sanctuary sounds cozy though. I bet you'll see all sorts there, huh?" Ruby-hued optics glanced to her curiously. Now, she'd mentioned giant robots and a baka-bot. But what else was there? Aliens? Sentient teacups? Ghosts? Bears?

"Yep! Especially since like...I think they're supposed to be aliens or something?" Kyoko shrugged with an air of honest confusion. Some things she had picked up from being around them, although Livewire was technically from America rather than Outer Space! The rest of the giant weird robot guys were supposed to be a lot more extraterrestrial than she was! It was especially weird since, frankly, those mechanical guys looked like they'd be right at home in a manga. The kinds where robots were giant and beat the crap out of each other. "You might be able to find a couple more Earth robots, though none of them are from Japan! I...think?" At the very least, they didn't wear their Japan-ness on their sleeves like Metal did.

Laughing with Metal was kind of like laughing with another teenager! It was nice to have more people around that were her age. Blaise was close, but even then, he was apparently an adult. Adult enough to date and get into relationships with foxy jerks at least, but eh. The young rat guy acted so young that Kyoko forgot that he wasn't around her age. And age for a robot was obviously weird. Livewire was only 7 but she didn't act like a little kid! It might be nice to have more shenanigans to get into with someone around her age. Even if he was a robot.

"Eeeeh..." The redhead scratched her chin with a fingernail idly. How long had she been in Portal Breach anyway...? "About like, five years? Two of them back home in Japan, and then I came here so all that experience kinda trickled back to," Rather than voice a number or amount, Kyoko blew a soft raspberry with her tongue. As if a lightbulb went off in her head, she turned back to the robot with a start. "Oh yeah! Did I tell you that when you first get here, you're weaker than you were before? You gotta earn back that stuff by sparring and training!" Such an important detail to impart on the young robot, lest he get too comfortable. "Sure, I don't see why not! Chocolate lollipops are fun, but the best of both worlds is a tootsie pop. You got the hard candy lolly stuff and chocolate in the middle!" A true win-win! Looming buildings passed by the two as they walked, the Inner City almost crowded with them. The only one of particular note aside from the hospital was the Penitentiary. A stern building indeed.

"Oh sure, it's very cozy!" Kyoko confirmed, keeping her pace equal to Metal's so they could walk side by side. Her arms were folded up by her head in a carefree manner, long red hair swishing behind with every step. "With the beds and the community kitchen, it almost feels like a hotel or somethin'! And there are definitely all sorts of people you can meet in there. It's pretty much the best place for meeting new people and making friends."

"Damn. Well, let's just hope they don't act like--nevermind." He grimaced at even thinking of the Stardroids. That had been a very trying time, and a very trying incident for him. He really hadn't wanted to die at the hands of alien robots powered by crystals that made them psycho. Hell, he didn't even wish that on Bass, and, well, Bass and he never really got along; how could they when Bass liked to sic Treble on him, and liked to cap him with his own weapon in his spare time? Well, as for wearing his more Japanese nature on his sleeve? That was because he didn't want to wear his German-ness on his sleeve. He was prouder of his Japanese heritage, probably because he knew Japan a little better. It had been home to him, unlike Germany. He'd never really been to Germany in his life, only having secondhand reference to it from the bad doctor himself. "Oof. Probably none from Germany either." Yeah, he was admitting he was German-Japanese, and probably one of the finer pieces of German-Japanese engineering. Not. He was the prototype, after all. Now Quick Man. Quick Man was a fine piece of engineering. But Metal's roleplayer digresses about that point.

Indeed, it was good to actually have a fellow teenager. Though his AI said seventeen, he acted closer to his physical construct age of fifteen, albeit even more socially ungainly than most fifteen-year-olds. But a combination of mental issues, being a child soldier, being sheltered, and having brothers that would sooner shiv you with your own saws and put you into a wall kind of did that to you. Not to mention he was always rushing, either trying to evade others or catch up with his idol among his siblings. Yeah, if you're thinking Quick Man, you're absolutely right.

He blinked a few times. "Ooof. That's...oh." He had an awkward smile behind the mask, glad it hid the awkward smile, the blush, and the way his freckles deepened with it. "That'd explain why even that jump wasn't my best. It was good but...it wasn't my best..." He scratched his chin. "No way! We didn't have those back home. Niiiiiiiice." His ears wiggled joyfully. His gaze caught the sight of the penitentiary and he shivered; it reminded him of the many jails Dr. Wily had been to and broken out of in his life since the Wily Wars began. How many times had it been? A lot? A lot.

"I can only imagine. Though..." Making new friends though. That was the tough part. He tended to be as mercurial as the liquid metal and a certain liquid metal alien robot. "...though I guess we'll just see." He managed to put a more cheerful look on. No need to sour the moment with his feelings that he was woefully inadequate at making friends. Ugh, being poorly socialized, with social issues, and some brothers that had tried to off him a fair few times had really taken a toll on his social skills.

"Huh?" Kyoko tilted her head, red bangs falling further down her face. "Act like who?" That was weird. Her lips pursed, giving the robot a look of consideration. "Well, whatever you're talking about... I can say from experience that they all just kinda act... Like giant people! Giant metal people who are good at fighting. One of them transforms into a gun, which is pretty weird." Whatever's Metal potential issues, she'd be pretty shocked if it related to robots turning into guns. It seemed like such a strange and specific thing! "Germany?" Another curious look. So Metal wasn't just Japanese? "So how does that stuff work anyway? Are some of your parts from Germany, some from Japan? Or were you raised in Japan by a German Scientist or something?" Wily definitely wasn't a Japanese name, but it also didn't seem very German.

Wow, look at that awkward robot! Nobody liked being deposited somewhere new, with barely any of their strength. "And that'd be why I decided to give ya an escort out of the Outer District." If left alone, he'd be easy pickings! So long as he paid for a meal for her, they could call it even Stevens. "It was still pretty good." She shrugged. Much more important to her was the discovery that Metal's world didn't have tootsie pops! The teenager gasped, staring at him with a look of slight horror. "No! Your world didn't have tootsie pops?! But they're great! The crunch is amazing!" Not so great on the teeth, but hey. Nothing a bit of magic couldn't fix!

"We'll see!" Kyoko agreed without much fanfare. She didn't always do a good job making friends, but it didn't quite bother her the way the idea seemed to bother Metal. If the teen hit it off well with someone, that's great! If not, that's fine too! She wasn't likely to get wound up or feel bothered if something didn't work out. She gestured for them to turn a corner, and the building known as the Sanctuary loomed before them. It was large and roomy, but only about two stories tall. Short perhaps, compared to the other buildings of the city. As they approached it, Kyoko pointed towards a large bulletin board next to the sidewalk. Numerous flyers rustled from a gust of wind, each one pinned into place. "This is your best bet for learning what's going on in the city. People put up challenges for spars, job requests, assistance with stuff, and whatever community activities might be taking place!"

He grimaced for a moment. "Well, okay, maybe they don't sound so bad. They don't sound like the alien robots that I'm familiar with. Vicious killer ones who were after power crystals." Well, he didn't know two of the Cybertronians were vicious killers. He just knew that the Stardroids were horrifying and powerful. "Raised in Japan by a German scientist, and a few of my parts are definitely from Germany." Namely, they were internal components like his gyroscopes and sensory array. Mind you, most of the Wily Numbers' sensory arrays were from Germany.

He gave a relieved look. He knew he wouldn't have stood a chance, even with his speed and his deadly accuracy with his Metal Blades. And boy, howdy that accuracy was almost scary. As Shen Woo would later find out. He then blinked and rubbed his head awkwardly. "We didn't have tootsie pops. Man, your world had the good stuff then. Something with a good crunch that resonates in the mouth even?" Now that was something he could sink his titanium teeth into for sure! He did so love a candy with a good crunch and a chocolatey center. Chocolate was, by and large, the best candy in the universe, of course. He really loved it way too much, partly because it had been the first thing he'd ever tried and it had been so wonderful!

He really wanted to make friends; he didn't do well alone, even if he seemed like a loner at first. But when you were one of over forty siblings, you did tend to not do so well alone. He blinked when she motioned to the bulletin board, peeking at several things owlishly for a moment, his ears tilting curiously. "So a lot of community activities come up, right?" He seemed intensely curious about that compared to anything else, as though even avoiding the topic of fighting for the time being. As for jobs? Well, maybe later on, he didn't want to get too bogged down too fast either.

"They're certainly handy in a fight." Kyoko conceded with a small shrug. She didn't know enough about the Cybertronians to judge if they were crazy alien robots, but their prowess in a fight didn't point to them being innocent pacifists. Vos turns into a gun for God's sakes! The teen wasn't too disturbed by the mechs though, and it was up to Metal to decide for himself if they might be anything like the weird robots he knew. Her brow arched, shooting the robot a curious look. "Yeesh. What were they gonna do with those power crystals?" A power source? Or maybe they could be weapons? "Oh, okay." So it was a combination, Dr. Wily was German and a few parts were based in Germany. It was kinda weird, wondering how ethnicity worked for robots. What was Scaramouche, for instance?

"My world also had some crummy junk." Kyoko stuck her tongue out with a small, disgusted noise. "There were some lollipops that had gum in them! They're not nearly as tasty as a tootsie pop! They have the best crunch and then you get to chew on some yummy chocolate!" With his metal jaws, Metal could probably get to the chewy center in one bite! Lucky.

Community activities? Kyoko didn't pay too much attention to that stuff. She flipped her ponytail over a shoulder. "Sure, sometimes! Usually around the holidays. And sometimes there's a talent showcase thing in the summertime, but there wasn't one this past summer for some reason." The sanctuary building stood behind the bulletin board, looking quite shiny and welcoming! Setting her hands on her hips, she gestured to it with a wide grin. "Well, here you are! The kitchen oughta have whatever you need, no matter how ridiculous!" And lookit that, Metal had made it in one piece!

"I can imagine so.  Giant robots are always handy, kehehe."  He chuckled, his optics seeming to glint cheerfully.  It really seemed so cool.  Too bad he didn't know what kind of weird forms they had.  "Asimov knows what the Stardroids were going to do.  Knowing them, they were going to boost their power to just...destroy Earth.  You know?"  He shuddered at the thought.  The Stardroids had been destructive monsters that had nearly killed a lot of the Robot Masters of Earth.  He gave a faint nod, whistling a bell clear note with his mask pulled forward, not knowing what else to say on that issue.

"I can imagine, considering not all candies are the greatest."  He then scratched his left audial slightly at the thought of a lollipop with gum.  "That's bound to get messy, the gum one, I mean."  Ohhh but those tootsie pops sound like absolute  heaven  For a moment, his optical irises showed a starry shape, literally making him starry-eyed.  Mind you, with those titanium teeth, he'd get to more than the tootsie roll center of the tootsie pop.  He'd probably even get a little bit of the stick!

"I'm going to have to check those out!"  He didn't know that he would end up missing out on all the movies due to falling into a funk around the ninth of December, missing one of his favorite brothers.  "Thank you so much, Kyoko.  I definitely owe you a smorgasbord of the best candies for this."  And not just Japanese, if Metal had his way.  European chocolates, after all, were the blessings of his Earth.  After all, who could resist a Ferrero Happy Hippo wafer full of Nutella?

"I wouldn't mind having them around to help out in a big fight." Giant robots were pretty useful in a pinch! But oof, these Stardroids weren't. Destroy Earth, huh? Not the most original plan but that sounded about right. In movies, aliens were either super friendly or out to destroy humanity. "So...did you have to battle these stardroids? To protect Earth?" Kyoko asked curiously. What kind of weapons did they have? Did they put up a good fight? Numerous questions were buzzing in the magical girl's head, eager for answers although now might not be the best time. The guy was still coping with the destruction of his world and all!

"Yeah. Like, I hate sour candy. It's like a lie wrapped up in sugar! You think you're gonna eat something sweet, and then your face is all puckered up. And if you eat too many, then your tongue starts hurting. So...sour's right out for me." It was lame, and the grimace on Kyoko's face got across her displeasure. "I mostly remember a lot of sticky spit. So yeah, pretty messy." Blegh. Whoa, hey, were those stars? Her eyes widened, craning to the side to check out the change in Metal's optics. "Wow, I didn't know your eye thingies could change shape!" Neat!

"Definitely! Checking out the bulletin board at least once a month is a good idea." With a grin, Kyoko gave the robot a thumb's up. "Ooh, you're welcome!" The teen grinned brightly, her own eyes now glistening at the promise of candies! "Just remember, no sour stuff!" She would enjoy literally everything else, but the sour stuff was right out!
